Details
The Imsil N Cheese Festival is a representative cultural tourism festival of Korea that is enjoyed by Imsil residents and visitors together every year in early October at the Imsil Cheese Theme Park to revitalize the local economy and develop the cheese industry. It commemorates the creation of the first cheese in Korea by Father Ji Jeong-hwan, who came to Imsil for missionary work in 1967, starting with two goats and working with the village youth through numerous trials and errors and hardships.
