Muju Firefly Festival

The Muju Firefly Festival is Korea's representative environmental festival themed around fireflies and nature. Held annually from late August to early September, the festival is characterized by offering a special experience where visitors can directly observe the mysterious light emitted by fireflies amidst pristine nature and feel the preciousness of the natural world. During the festival, a variety of attractions and activities are prepared, including diverse ecological experience programs, traditional cultural events, performance programs, and fireworks displays. In particular, the Firefly Mystery Exploration is the highlight of the festival and a program that provides many visitors with unforgettable memories.
