Daegu Chicken and Beer Festival

The Daegu Chicken & Beer Festival is Daegu's representative summer cultural tourism festival and the nation's largest food and beverage festival combining "chicken" and "beer." Since its inception in 2013, it has attracted over 1 million cumulative visitors, contributing significantly to the revitalization of the local economy as well as enhancing Daegu's global brand value. Going beyond a simple food and beverage festival, it offers visitors a wealth of entertainment through diverse programs including performances, exhibitions, hands-on experiences, corporate promotions, and global exchanges. The 2025 Daegu Chicken & Beer Festival will be held for five days from July 2 to 6 in the Duryu Park area. The main venue, 2.28 Freedom Plaza, will be decorated with a "Water Concert" theme combining water activities and electronic music, and a new 360-degree central stage will be introduced. In addition, various themed spaces such as ‘Daefrica Waterpia’ and ‘Blood Horror Club’ will be created, and sculptures and photo zones created in collaboration with famous artists are expected to further enhance the festive atmosphere.
