Haeundae Sand Festival

Held annually in May and June, this is the nation's largest sand festival, promoting the beauty of Haeundae, Korea's representative beach, and the importance of sand as a marine resource. World-class sand sculptures, diverse hands-on programs, and performances are presented with a new theme every year. The 2026 festival is themed "Busan," showcasing the city's dynamic transformation from the past to the present and its global appeal. The festival runs from May 15 to May 18, and the sand sculptures can be viewed until June 14.
